Buy at Amazon, support BP!

For those with amazon prime free trial they have your account set to auto renewal after one year. Loved the service, but I just can't justify the $80 right now.
I signed up for this to get some free shipping for a month and forgot to take it off. When I cancelled they refunded me the $79 because I hadn't used it after the 1 month trial.....which is pretty cool of them to do.

I heart my Prime. I'm saving $20 on cables this week, and given that I save about $10 in gas every time I skip a shopping trip and buy something online, it's been a great deal. I don't use the free videos very much since they get in the way of whatever else is on my monitor, but if Roku goes on sale I may give that a try.

I found the option to cancel it and get my refund right before I posted. It was just bad timing for me. I had a rent check waiting to be cashed and was afraid I would have overdrawn. The money was deposited in my account 2 days later. Couldn't be happier with my amazon prime service.

picked up a new tv. My wife will probably slap me when it gets here.
I'm going to put it in the basement so I can have entertainment while I work out. Now I just have to start working out.

Need some HDMI cables...anyone know where I can get some really expensive ones?

Just bought a book using the Amazon link on BP. Not much, but you know what they say about every little bit.

Absolutely. Those little purchases add up, especially when they pile up and bump us into new percentage bracket for referrals for the month.

Not Amazon, but wow.

Holy Crap!! Run to your local Best Buy first thing in the AM to score a 16GB HP Touchpad for $99 or a 32GB HP Touchpad for $149. Apparently they ordered a ton of these from HP and then found out they were being discontinued. Rather than returning them to the vendor, they decided to take the hit and dump them into the market. Crazy good deal if you're looking for a cheap iPad-like device. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2391466,00.asp This has been in the news for a few days, just hard to find the deal online. You have to get your butt out of the house to find this deal in the brick and mortar storefront.

Also check out Radio Shack, Staples, Frye's, Office Depot, Office Max, etc. People are posting in forums they are getting the same or similar deals at other stores than Best Buy.
Everything around here is sold out. Better luck to the rest of you. Here's the Best Buy store locator for phone numbers.

QUICK QUICK QUICK!

This seller just put the 32GB AND the 16GB at $99. Bet that won't last long! EDIT - back to $149 for the 32GB, which is still great, but MUHAHAHA for me.
