$650 worth of software today. When do I get my kickback?
I didn't know you'd lost your kick. When Mrs. Katt is feeling better, I bet she can help you get it back. :)

We're trying out a new ad provider in the left side of the thread ads, so I have moved the Amazon link above those so it's always there. That's probably the easiest way anyhow.

Here are some random informations.

If you've ever seen items listed where a couple of sellers for the item have wildly different prices from the others, it may be due to automatic pricing rather than any difference in quality, editions, collectability, etc. I read an article recently where one seller on a textbook was set to automatically adjust the price to 1.20 of the second highest value as a strategy, while another used .97 of the highest value. The prices stair-stepped their way all the way up to 3 million dollars for a single textbook! So if some used items are more than others, something similar may be going on.

Also, if you are looking at items you may wish to purchase in the future but without a timetable, you can put them in your cart as a "save for later." When I log in and go to the cart, I glance down the list of what is on sale and pick it up then. This is great for books and things you don't really need in a certain order, but it really rocks for Christmas presents. I already have a bunch of potential presents saved, most over my budget, but I can pick them up as they go on sale and come out ahead.

This Amazon price tracker works great, too. You can see how often the seller drops the price and use that to decide when to buy. There are email notifications, though I haven't used that feature.

Hot off the press!

The 20GB plan for Cloud Player is now allowing unlimited upload of your own MP3s. They were already doing this for Amazon purchases - this is for your other MP3s.

I have the upgrade to the 20GB account free for a year because I've purchased MP3s. I think that offer is still running, but am not sure. The "unlimited MP3s" bit was added to my account today. EDIT - Okay, to keep the account with unlimited MP3s once this offer ends, you have to go in and upgrade to the non-trial version of the 20GB plan. Since I did that while I was still eligible for the trial, the amount was prorated and they charged me $3.

The price in general will be $20/year. The unlimited accounts are supposed to be available for a limited time, so if you're going to do it, don't wait too long.

The Cloud Player is now supported on the iPad.

Jwins pointed out the $20 promo credit on Amazon for NCAA 12 and we had 60 referrals on it yesterday - yikes! Thanks, jwinslow, and all! That's fantastic.

I am adding that info to the amazon link in the thread ad. Enjoy!

I'll have to spread some rep his way cuz I jumped on the offer myself when he posted it. He's my personal shopper.

It is the same. The ads, the affiliate store, the search bar, etc.

The reason I have started referring people to those instead of the links is that we started having problems with the referral links, but the stuff above still works fine.

If you have Amazon bookmarked, the easiest way to do it is to change the properties for that link to this one:

PHP:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2F&tag=buckey09-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325
(Note that if you actually go to that link, it redirects to the plain URL, so copy/paste the above one.)

Use that for shopping and you're good to go. I use the bookmark before checkout to be sure since surfing the web might have changed the referrer.

I made my whole family change their bookmarks - you see it doesn't say BP in the link. Dad's new Kindle is on there this week. :)
