Bucknuts and Scout Part ways

I had the same issue but I had forgot it was an e-mail addy from like 5 years ago.

I went back to the scout board, logged out and then logged back in with my e-mail address instead of my username and got right in so they obviously have my current e-mail address.

I've been a BN poster for about 6 years. During that timeframe I noticed a number of changes (good and bad). As BN gathered more new posters, I noticed the message boards became more cluttered and harder to navigate.

I also joined BP in 2004. Never posted but frequently read everyone's comments and game preview/reviews. I am a loyal Buckeye and the more Ohio State information the better. So, I welcomed other sites. I just never posted here since I have only so much time to post and I was familiar with BN.

With that stated, I was wondering what is your position on posters like me. Are you concerned that too many new members will join BP and "clutter" this site? Are you going to welcome me with open arms? If so, I pledge to never post a new topic on the following subjects:

  • Tressel moving to the NFL.
  • Zwick versus Smith.
  • What time do I need to arrive to attend the Skull Session?
  • Any recruits with the following names: Buster Davis, Malik Hairston or Derek Morris.
  • Grass vs. Turf.
  • ESPiN
  • Herbstreit support (or lack of) of Ohio State.
  • The PI call in the 2003 Fiesta Bowl.
  • Student seating arrangement at VCA.
  • A player's 40 time.

Not concerned at all. BP won't change one bit...we have set precedents and procedures. Some people like the way we operate and others are looking for something different. Either way they go, we'll be here.
