Boy, talk about a difficult start-up. You would think they had never run a web-site before.

Rule 1 when moving domains - never have have two sites up with the same URL, give or take a period.
They would have been better off moving this with a "free-for-all" period, so no-one had to register for anything, till that is their bugs and glitches were cleansed.
Further helping they should have ported all the old threads in the discussion forums under scout into the new BN.com.dot and then immediately closed down the old forums, leaving forwarding marks for ohiostate.scout.com or equivalent to go to their new home.
Before doing any of which they should have explicit and completely uncoy declarations of their intentions to part from scout.com.
Last but not least, they should have done neither one, nor two, nor what they have actually done until they got simple stuff squared away like password/login, like Control Panels and preferences.

It's a mess, in fact they are generating numerous mySQL errors right now, and it is almost impossible to get onto their front page, forget about the forums (and their few posts).

Man, posting on the forums is a HUGE mess right now. All the posts are out of order, the times are wrong, half of them aren't going through....

It's kind of funny though. I satrted a thread in which my first post remains the "latest post", while somehow myself and those who responded have gone into the future and posted at 3 PM, but yet my original post at 10 is still always the last post. <cue creepy time travel music>...

I don't like it yet. Hope it grows on me.

I just completly re-vamped my companies website from one website to another and took over 5,000 clients without a hitch. No log in issues at all. If I can do it I am surprised that BN cannot make it a smoother transition.

If I am on auto pay for scout, I assume that I will have to cancel that and change it to the new and vastly improved BN....

Check this out. BN sent out a e-mail with the entire e-mail address attached it looks like. So if you just hit reply to all you can get the entire Bucknuts e-mail list. Someone not going to be very happy about that one. Here is a reply to all I got from Nick Mangolds father...
