Friday night at the IX center in Cleveland had Ginn, Pittman, and Gonzo signing autographs from 6-8.

To be nice about it........IT WAS HORRIBLE......

For starters they showed up 15 minutes late. There was about 1,500 people in line. The line was slow as hell. And they left 600+ buckeye faithfull stranded after we waited in line for 3 hours. They also sold pictures for 20 bucks each to have them signed. (however 600 of us had them unsigned).

Everyone that was left out was outraged that this was put together so poorly. This made the 3 look like a$$es. But in respect to them it wasnt there fault. Pontiac and BP gasoline put the show together and never should of let that many people stand in line that long.

However the 3 Cleveland natives should of looked at the 600+ and maybe stayed an extra hour to finish up.

Bottom line it took us 1.5 hours to get to the IX center from Fremont,OH.

$24 bucks to get in.
$40 bucks for pictures.
$30 bucks for mini helmet.
$15 bucks for food and beverage .
3 hours in line wasted and $109 spent.

Taking my 8 yr old brother to get No Autographs PRICELESS................

Thats why college football is the best, once you go pro the money goes to your head!!!!!!!!

i was at the I-X center at 3pm-7:30pm untill i got my autographs. i let one guy cut my friends and me for 20 dollars because we knew we were gonna get our autographs. Ted Ginns dad was sweet, he was playing with the marching band and getting everyone excited. I got my ted ginn jersey signed and i bough pictures of gonzalez and pittman for 5 dollars each. Then i got the sports illustrated signed by pittman and gonzalez(my friend got it for me) but he couldnt get two autographs from ted ginn. the line was long and there were more than 600 people left hanging afterward. Other than that i got my stuff so im happy, though the price of food and drinks is rediculous. Also the ohio state autographs were so weird, because like 10 minutes before 8 there were people still waiting that knew they had no shot at getting to even the snake part of the line..i dont know why some of the people waited, knowing they werent gonna get the autographs. And also there was a kid standing by Pittman but i never found out who it was. Overall it did go pretty slow but what do you expect? It was fun for me because i knew i was gonna get to the front and we just had fun listening to the band and cheering O-H I-O.

All im saying is that if I was in there shoes and signing autographs, and I looked in the crowd and saw 600+ people waiting in line, I would not get up and leave them hanging. I could understand it if they did it at the Detroit Auto Show but come on its CLEVELAND. Bottom line is it was the Vendors fault, however show some class and stay an extra hour and finish up. After all we are the ones that go to the games and spend the money that will pay for the multi millions that they will make in the NFL.

After its all said in done I still bleed scarlet and gray......GO BUCKS!!!!:oh:

do you understand how much demand there is, there would be no way for them to get that extra 600 you say!because people are gonna start going in line again! i got two autographs from pittman and gonzalez because my friend asked for two and all of them said yes except ginn. That was the only bad thing, when they let us get two. But on the other hand there were about 200 people in front of me when the autographs started. You just needed to get there early.

Well first of all the line didn't move at all the first 30 minutes because they were late. Second the reason the line went slow is because of people like you beging for 2 autographs from each player, when the sign clearly said 1 each.(but I cant blam you I would of done the same thing). There were around 2,000 people in line, and the IX center has been doing this for years, they should of stoped the line before it got out of hand. Granted there is a big demand, but seeing 600+ buckeye fans wait in line for 3 hours and not get squat is rediculous. I clearly blame the Vendors that put on the show, not the players.

Ok im done whining............No more posts.........GO BUCKS

Re: $40 bucks for pictures.

Just curious.

You knew who was going to be there.

You knew you wanted them to sign a picture.

You knew the show sold pictures at "rip off" prices.

So why didn't you just print some internet pictures of them on your computer and take them with you? You would have saved $40.

BECAUSE printing/RIPPING OFF photos from the internet is ILLEGAL! ALL photos are copyrighted. It's easy to spot a FAKE printed from the internet b/c they look like shit. BTW $20 for a 16x20 is a BARGAIN!

EXACTLY! As a photographer I should know US copyright laws and such! BTW in my line of business I sell 16x20's for NO LESS than $45 on an individual basis and up to $65 to parents. $20 for an Ohio State photo is a FRIGGIN STEAL! In reality 8x10's of OHIO STATE should be $20! Look at the Dispatch website where they sell photos for $20 which is an industry standard price.

Hayn where did you buy that print that you have on your posts- Who took that shot?

I acquired it from a fellow photographer b/c my shot was taken before Gonzo was in the frame. They're almost identical photos. This photo has not been "released" yet but will soon. There is the possibility of a LIMITED ED with all four signatures, however, it will NOT be cheap!
