At least he owned up to it. Seemed pretty sincere.

But it was all bullshit, considering he was cheating and would've kept cheating if he didn't get caught. And he'll continue to cheat.

those crocodile tears were for the money he'll lose, not for him being in any way sorry for his conduct.

Oh I'm aware of how fake it was. It was just solid acting. Better than most cheating coaches/golfers.

Solid enough to possible be a red-shirt on Star Trek

Seemed sincere? Sure, after he was caught lying during the investigation, he sincerely hopes to hold onto his job.

Lying to (excuse me, 'misleading' in UT's language) the NCAA is the surest way to get whacked in any investigation. See MoC, Dez Bryant, and Todd McNair.

Wow, his knuckles are going to be hurting for hours....maybe the whole weekend.

Contrast that with Andy Geiger: "Did you do it?" "OK, I'm calling a press conference in an hour for you to resign." "Oh you won't resign?....OK, you're fired!"

Sooo.... you recommend the bad faith breach of contract method instead?

No bad faith involved. We just fired his ass so quickly that two things happened:

  1. His head spun.
  2. We violated his--very poorly written--contract.

Forgive us for erring on the side of fucking integrity! I guess that would be pretty unfathomable down in SEC land, so you're forgiven your trespass of ignorance.

I see. I ignorantly relied on language from the actual court decision finding of a "lack of good faith" in the firing. I'm sure it's just my unfathomable lack of appreciation of integrity, coupled with my inherent ignorance of Ohio legal terminology. My bad man.

Edit: I am not defending the scum bag, but your touting a method of handling the firing got a cheater over 2 million in damages he did not deserve, not should you have paid had they been a little less trigger happy. My only point Ord. Lawyer thing, if you will. Carry on being [censored]y.
