Hey Media Idiot, you are selling a product, and we are the consumers. If we don't like what you're selling, then we won't buy it, and your employers will notice. And once they do notice that a certain Media Idiot is selling the wrong product, then that Media Idiot will lose his/her job. Get used to it - it's called a free market.MediaIdiot said:Apparently those in Ohio State Land are willing to sacrifice those that speak truth and offer criticism of a coach, a university and its footall program. They are probably high-fiving themselves into a stupor.

Never listened to a second of this guy. Based on what I've read here from time to time, why anyone would choose to listen is beyond me.

Don't bother listening to it - in other words, don't give Finebaum any web hits - just read the summary above.LordJeffBuck;1891946; said:Hooley on Finebaum's Show - March 9, 2011
Some gems from Hooley's interview:
Tressel is "very artful in verbal double reverses."
Tressel has "a prolonged sustained pattern of NCAA malfeasance."
Tressel has done a "masterful job of crafting his reputation as the pantheon [sic] of all virtue."
Tressel is "a liar and a cheater" and the recent "dramatic and egregious violations of NCAA rules" don't "leave much on the table in terms of integrity and high moral character."
Implies that Tressel is under investigation by the FBI and the IRS!
Hooley says of himself: "Integrity mean more to me than winning." Well, Bruce, the next time you win something, then please let us know....
Tressel has since been suspended for an additional two games, for a total of five...

We're high-fiving ourselves into a stupor over the firing of Hooley, just like all the Media Idiots are high-fiving themselves into a stupor over the smear campaign of Tressel. The only thing worse than a hypocrite is an arrogant hypocrite.
The irony behind Hooley's anti-Tressel rant is that it caused the Ohio State fan base to circle the wagons around their head coach. Now, JT still has a job and is a hero/martyr for Ohio State fans, and BHOOLZ is looking for work and trying the bury that pesky skeleton that is literally hiding in his closet. Karma, such a bitch.

What coach out there requests that his suspension be EXTENDED to 5 games? An honest coach, who knows he made a mistake. And sorry if either article has been posted already, this is my first time weighing in on each of them.

Rather penalize yourself than be seen to be punished further than you thought. Personally, with all of the media fervor, I suspect that five games may be less than he finally receives.
