Don't hardly listen to them..........And I'm not sure which of the three it was (Hooley, Common Man or Torg) but they were talking during pre-game, I think one of the early non-Big Ten games this past season, and one of them misspoke and called Stoneburner Sanzo or vice versa, then when the other corrected him and said "You mean ......", He responded "Stoneburner / Sanzenbacher : Same difference. They're both slow white guys playing reciever for the Buckeyes, who wouldn't be able to play against corners with elite speed." (or something to that effect) And the other guy just laughed. I knew they were OSU haters after that. The only reason I'll listen to that station now is to hear the post-game interviews and such.

Really? Like I said, I'm no big fan of the show, and the above could be characterized as immature, in poor taste, etc. However, I think that if you listen to the show enough you'll realize they don't hate OSU.

A number of posters on the Scout board have stated that Hooley was responsible for the death of a young man in a collision that he caused a few years ago. One stated that the victim's family was 100% certain that Hooley was drunk at the time. I was unaware of this. Can anyone fill in the details?

I hadn't heard anything and I hope it's not true if it were, well that would be just horrible.

I think that's all the time we need to spend on that. I believe he was in a car accident which resulted in a friend's death. I don't see what that has to do with any of this.

That depends on what your definition of "following" is. As it pertains to twitter... no.

Also, the whole "if you don't like it you don't have to read the thread" works on multiple levels. I find it ironically humorous when posters such as yourself join in the discussion just to bitch about other posters bitching.

However, when the Common Idiot and the ReTorg try to pass themselves off as Buckeye fans, it comes off as disingenuous. Big time.

Not saying they are haters (although they do go over the line from time to time), but they are playing to a script when it comes to their fan-dom. I'd rather they drop the pretenses personally....

It's not only what you say, but also how you say it and it was pretty clear to me with what was said and how it was said what their feelings towards the Buckeyes (or at the very least the Buckeyes under Tressel) are.

I have the same opinion of a dude on an ESPN Lima station that's supposed to be a "Buckeye" station (called the Koze or something). He tries to sound like he supports the Bucks, but I'd never call him a fan and I often hear underlying animosity in his voice when he talks OSU.

That's the vibe I get from those clowns as well.
