Atlanta teens killed dog, then threatened children if they told about it

ATLANTA - Two teenage brothers each were sentenced to 10 years in prison for torturing a puppy by cooking it in an oven.

Joshua Moulder, 17, and Justin, 19, pleaded guilty in January to charges including burglary, criminal damage to property, terroristic threats and cruelty to children.

The brothers brought neighborhood children to see the dead puppy, then threatened to kill them if they reported it, prosecutors said.

It's messed up because I remember when a police dog was shot and killed several years ago... and it was only considered "property" by law, not carrying any penalty. Karma will always come full circle on those two.

Yes, there is something wrong with cooking a puppy that they duct taped it's paws together and it's mouth shut and started cooking it while it was still alive.

Perhaps they should be duct taped and cooked in an oven, if they're eaten afterwards is it ok?

Of course there is something wrong with the way they killed this puppy. How ever there are people on just about every continent who regularly eat dog as a staple.
In re to the people thing i guess it would depend on whether or not you are a cannibal.
Personally I think roast dog is the best.

that's irrelevant here. the kids were not cooking the puppy to eat it. they were cooking it to watch it die. i don't have any issue with killing, say, your dog or cat if it's done in a proper way (least pain possible for the animal) and then eaten.
