Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

Who was the last really overweight guy to really win consistently? Closest I can think of is Bowden. Anyone else more recent? Seems like it would be hard to take this dude seriously when he's pushing you hard while he's eating a stuffed crust pizza.

Alvarez was a giant fat fuck of a doughnut consuming bastard that won pretty consistently.

Not sure there are any, but this planet always comes to mind when you say 'overweight':

Later Biddle says Brady Hoke is "negatively recruiting the hell out of OSU," which causes the requisite amount of swooning from the daintier folks in the thread. Specifically:

He's telling these guys that OSU will get hit harder than USC and they "shouldn't fall for the same (stuff) Lane Kiffen sold all those SC recruits."

Biddle from BuckNuts, LOL

I find this article/blog(or whatever it is) as factual as SI's on Tressel.

As for Mattison being an NFL Def guy, well yes his last job he worked in the pros. Before coached College players.

Mattison has already stated Michigan is going to run base defense and do a lot of different things from the base defense.

The defense will be better, maybe in the 60's, but my guess is in the 70's. Anybody who understands football knows that michigan will be around 7-5 next year, 8-4 if we get lucky.

Michigan does not have the talent yet to compete, this class while looking good, may not pan out. What most of us are happy about is were at least recruiting players who can compete in the big ten.

Hoke has to put on the swagger talk, but anyone can see we need some serious rebuilding, and not just on football talent, but attitude also.

How does Biddle know though and where is he getting it from? Was he there when Hoke said this? Did a player or coach tell him that? I would like to know more information on this.

What's the point of responding to the same post twice?

Edit: whoops, I thought zwem and germ were the same poster. Disregard.

To answer the question, just read through the rest of the thread, since your responses are basically the same.

From the 110's to the middle of the NCAA pack because of Mattison and some swagger talk?

I agree with the 7-5/8-4 projection but I think you are over estimating the defensive improvement.

They are real thin on the "D" line. Any injuries and all there plans go down the [Mark May]ter.

Then there's the miracle worker on offense, Borges. "To that same point, Borges did precious little work at Auburn with a "dual-threat" quarterback, but what little he did wouldn't be very encouraging where Denard is concerned." When he has the right talent(he's not a great recruiter) he can have a great offense.
