Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

Eh that was weak. That's ok though, you got Mike who lives in Ohio unless you scared him off.

What was weak besides your reading comprehension skills? I was talking about Ohio born scUM fans and you popped off about being from tsun and your old man making you a scUM fan. If the conversation doesn't apply to you stay the fuck out of it.

I have a feeling Mike isn't leaving under his own free will no matter how quiet he's been the past few days. You guys are all acting like school girls who just saw their first cock because the new coach says "Ohio". He'll be back.

I wouldn't say it's an opinion but a fact. The talent gap will be like that for the next few years.

The opinion part is that Hoke being such a fat obnoxious bastard is a huge advantage for the Buckeyes since, given the fact that there is a huge talent gap at the moment, pissing Buckeye players off guarantees that they won't take anything for granted given how shitty Michigan has been and will likely continue to be.

For instance, if Hoke is riding a 3 game losing streak into November 26th (which is entirely possible in my opinion) Ohio State will still be just as motivated to beat the shit out of him since he is such a fat fuck.

Which post am I acting like a school girl about Hoke calling OSU Ohio?

Let me guess, you were a kinesiology major. I'll try and make this as simple as possible;

You guys = recent rash of scUM visitors/trolls

acting like school girls = we hadn't heard shit from any of you in forever then Hoke gets a decent recruiting class, starts his "Ohio" shit and we get a running commentary from one of you every time I turn around.

This thread isn't going to turn into another trainwreck like your friend liked to induce. If you are going to imitate his act stupid to piss people off routine you should at least add the smiley face or lol emoticon.

You are wrong on my major.

"You guys" implies that I was somebody who calls OSU "Ohio" which I never did. I could care less about the whole "Ohio" thing anyways. Just say scum trolls or better yet just name the people that did. I got no problem with that.

It won't turn into another train wreck.

I'm guessing he meant it was surprisingly tame for you.

Also, mike and zwem are as similar as Kyle and you. But since you both post in the same threads, then someone apparently should lump the two of you together.

On thing that I've thought about recently with regards to Michigan is as follows:

USC hired Monte Kiffin to bring forth a magnificent defense that he was known for in the NFL.

Michigan hired Mattison to bring forth a magnificent defense that he was known for in the NFL.

USC actually had talent that could play on the defensive side of the ball last year.

Michigan has little to no talent on the defensive side of the ball this year.

USC did not fare very well last year.

I have a strong suspicion that Michigan's defense will not be very good this year.

I have a further suspicion that the optimism in Ann Arbor will be short lived with Matt Foley and crew not able to work some sort of magic. May the arrogant tarts suck on a big dick.

Not trying to start anything but is there any quotes on this? Are there coaches or players that are saying that he is using negative recruiting tactics? I tried to search for some but didn't really come up with anything. If he is then I'm disappointed.

One of the bad things about message boards is that everyone's response to what they don't what to hear is, "Quotes?", "Links?", "Prove it!". A rock-solid blue-chip commit to OSU makes a visit to OSU's hated rival in the midst of an NCAA investigation of OSU, and quickly not only decommits but makes a full 180. Sorry, but there's no fucking way that is done without some degree of negative recruiting, explicit or implied, happening. It's simply not human nature.

Wait till the 2013 class. The talent nationally is down. In the midwest its down as well. The only position in Ohio this year that was spectacular was DE. It was 8-9 deep with B5 talent. I consider Odenigbo and Perry as DE...both will outgrow LB'er.

IMO the the coaches are waiitng for the final NCAA ruling to offer more OL. Once the ruling comes out I fully expect 4-5 2013 guys to get offers. Then I expect Kozan and Davidson...maybe Mills to get theirs.

We'll see how things go when the L's start dropping...the honeymoon will be over.

It could be the whole Charlie Weis phenomenon (which would be awesome if tsun gets a strong case of).

NFL offenses and defenses are ultra complex and take a long time to learn and excel in, even for professional athletes.

NFL coaches spend almost all of their time teaching their systems to players because they are working with professions who do not need to spend very much time on basics like tackling, taking good angles, lining up correctly, etc.

College players are not professional athletes, and many of them need to spend a lot of time on the most basic concepts that NFL coaches either haven't coached or are not very experienced at coaching.

Having said that, Mattison has spent a huge majority of his coaching career on the college level, so that likely won't be an issue for him.

Having said that, Mattison hasn't exactly been associated with any world beating defenses during his time in college football, with the possible exception of Florida from '05-'07.

I strongly suspect Mattison won't be working with that kind of talent in Ann Arbor anytime soon, so we will see how he does.

And when you hear their quotes it's so obvious that they are parroting the party line.
