BP Poll Thread (with Week 1 updates)

This is a special day for BP. Thanks to all who put this together.

One small complaint. I wrote an entire post whining about how the polls are biased towards ND and jumped them over 15 or so teams based on one win against #25. BP has them higher than either poll.

The true test of course is where things stand at the end of the year relative to this first poll.

Is NDC in on the voting? How can ND be that high? :smash:

Dont know. Edited it out..
and you couldn't edit out the :p's?

the lace is actually a colon in front of the word place. I think MS Word uses that behind the scenes and it doesn't transfer well to here. I also think the :p are only visible to FireFox users, but I'm too lazy to test that theory with IE.

Well that differs greatly from my poll. How does Louisville go up 3 spots for barely beating Kentucky on a bad fumble call? I'm the only person to put Utah in my poll (yeah all 6 points are from me.) I had ND at 19.

Don't blame me. I didn't have them ranked in my vote, and I certainly don't agree with it.

Yeah, Tenny was unimpressive. No, I didn't rank ND anywhere.

I had them at 25 for beating 25, I thought they looked pretty good... but that's only one measley point...

Maybe ND is the "Kool Aid" of the week, like Oklahoma was in the Preseason Poll...
