Then again, many of these same people predicted a Cavs romp over Orlando last year because Cleveland rolled through the first two rounds. It didn't work out that way.
Let's play the games and see what happens. :)

I expect Jameer Nelson to guard Rondo a majority of the time, but don't be shocked if he sees a lot more Pietrus. I'm sure Van Gundy recognized the importance of an athletic bigger on him. Mike Brown certainly lacked that ability. Because he doesn't see it, or he's just stubborn. I hope it's stubborness, otherwise he's the biggest idiot I've ever seen.

I look for it to be a long series with the C's winning in six or seven games.

BigJim;1704261; said:He's not close to Chris Paul or Deron Williams. He's easily better than Nash defensively, but overall I still gotta take Nash right now. Nash is more known for his assists but his shooting percentages are absolutely remarkable. Like top-5 all time type good. I'd actually put Derrick Rose ahead of Rondo when he's healthy but that one's close for me because Rose isn't great on defense yet.
I'd say Rondo is 5th personally, but close enough to #3 and #4 that I can understand that opinion.

I'd say my top 3 are Williams, Nash, and Rondo. That order can change on a nightly basis. If Chris Paul gets back to healthy and starts dominating like he did last year, he's right there too.
Derrick Rose enters the discussion next year. He's as explosive as Rondo, but he didn't domiante the Cavs like Rondo did. I know Rondo's cast is significantly better, but Rondo still put up triple-double type numbers in a majority of the series. Just sick.
