The mistakes I made in college were far worse than these, but when it comes to drugs anymore, I'm a bit surprised. Are tests still totally random or do they all get tested? Because if they all get tested....well there's just no sense in doing it.

I am with you 100%...just had to start there before my miniature rant.

These guys that are suspended are some of my favorite players ever here (everyone knows Bosa has a special place in my heart, even from the very earliest we recruited him...add Jalin to the list). But I hope they understand this is not not some trite, petty BS. The real world will not be as forgiving.

While I understand all the weapons we have at our disposal despite this incident, I still am pretty damn nervous on the road in game 1 with this news, even if suspected.

I don't know if you're joking or not, but having done my fair share of job interviews... it does seem like it's a plus if you have a negative that you speak positively about. I don't even know if it's a "red flag" thing as much as empathy and getting the recruiter to relate to you.
Assuming Joey can sell it as a maturation point (he comes off as thoughtful and well spoken to me) and teams see it as a blip rather than a trend... it strangely does become a plus.

Anyway... we're doing this all wrong.
1. Why hasn't there been a team vote?
2. Where was our Monk Bonasorte to fix this?
3. Why aren't they enrolled in no-show classes to begin with?
4. Isn't there a baseball game they could miss instead? Maybe suspend them from throwing the first pitch at an Indians or Reds game...
5. Doesn't Urban Meyer know they can suspend them for 1 half... or 1 quarter?
