Bosa, Marshall, Wilson, Smith Suspended for VaTech

No pitty for those guys. All of them except bosa stand a shot at losing their job. And braxton now has an excellent shot at securing the hb starting role and blowing up the first game. Probably would have been hback by committee for first 5 games until someone stood out.

Fuck the off season, seriously.

On the other hand, we're now for sure going to see a lot of xBrax, and probably JT at QB. That's pretty much a double-headed QB/HB combo, because let's not forget that JT had some pretty good shakes last season as well. My only concern is losing Bosa for the game, but if our young guys are as promised I may feel much better.

You are going to see xBrax in motion and then the read option with Zeke on the give, JT keeping, and xBrax as the pitch man. Good luck defending that. Do you want to die fast or slow will be the only decision the DCs have. UFM said Zeke is the hardest working RB he has been around. The man doesn't say things he does not mean either. Compliments do not come easy.

Urban on BTN right now: "I can't wait to get the chance to work with him (Brax). There's so much we can do with him, I'm excited, but we have to get him to tuck that ball away when he catches it..." Taking some tough questions and giving straight answers unlike TCUN.

I see a fitting anagram.

BTN Media Day wrap up, Urban invited Glenn Mason to sit in on one of his team meetings. "He really hammered away about acting responsibly, about avoiding those things that are going to get you in trouble." Problem is obviously not at the top.
College kids do college kid things, I get that. What's most disappointing is that these guys just watched Noah Spence flush first round draft money down the toilet. The anti-drug message had to have been hammered into their skulls.

Some people need to learn the hard way.

I'm not as worried as some by the suspensions. I'm disappointed by the kids' actions but I know being in college you do, well, dumbass things. But to be honest this couldn't have come at a better time. Open the season and show what you're made of with the young pups. Like Urban said, we recruited well, our team lives and breathes the mantra of next man up. Last season literally showed that, from dealing with losing Spence for the whole season(can you seriously imagine him playing alongside Bosa!?!:ohno:) to losing Braxton for the year then JT for the CFP. I'm optimistically curious to see what the WR corp of Miller, Dixon, Brown, Hill, McLaurin and Campbell can do. As well as seeing what a combination of Hubbard, Holmes, Cornell, Slade, Sprinkle and Thompson can do at DE. This is what the high recruiting classes were brought in for, to ease the drop off if someone went down, nows the time to shine. If 1-2 players of those groups steps up, we crush Va Tech, because there are little to no weaknesses anywhere else on the team. And with the O line playing at such a high level, EzE will be the focal point that sets up the pass. And on defense our back 7 is still one of the nations best.
