OHIO State.....drink again...I am officially drunk......

4th Q of what is turning into a laugher on ESPN ... the guys in the truck are saying, "This is dead air, so spend the next ten minutes talking about Kellen Moore for Heisman and the Ohio State/Miami game tomorrow."

It's coming.

I understand that, but if you watched the Georgia game they just kicked their ass on both sides of the ball. This isn't the cutesy BSU shit to beat big time programs we've seen in years past. This team just lined up and beat the shit out of Georgia up front. After watching this game I think they would win the LOS battle against us as well.

Georgia is 14-15 their last 29 games versus FBS teams. Let's not get carried away with how impressive it is to defeat them.

Serious question.....Is Kellen Moore a starting QB in the NFL? Does he have the arm strength or is he a system type player?
System. He's accurate, a perfect fit for that offense, and intelligent, but I don't think his arm is much above average and he's small.

No. Too short and a lefty.

Two pretty stupid reasons in my IMHO, but that's the way the NFL works.

I don't think so. He's short, not all that mobile, and benefits from some unusually sure-handed receivers and a brilliant offensive game plan.

On the other hand, I thought Cam Newton would tank in the NFL. So consider the source.

My thought also so I guess we both don't know what we are talking about.....

My guess is "no". He has thrived in a privileged position. He makes great decisions with the football, but he has all day to make them if he wants. QBs who play in that kind of setting in college (even if they are in a pro-style system, see also: Matt Leinart) tend to struggle in the NFL.

Let me ask you guys a question then....Do you think we win the LOS battle against BSU? If so how decisively?

Don't give a shit until if/when we play them. Anything else in the meantime is just noise.
