Listen I've made fun of them as much as anyone, but at some point you have to just admit their pretty damn good. Do I think they could win the SEC or BI6 as someone suggested? No.....not enough depth. However, as bad as I hate to sound like Herbie, I do think they can play anyone in the nation 1 game and not embarrass themselves.

I think I've conceded as much as is reasonable re: Boise State. Now when are people going to start admitting that Georgia sucks?

The obvious difference is Kellen Moore but there are other reasons for the differences in the Toledo vs. Boise and the OSU vs. Toledo games.

Toledo HC former OSU ass't knows the Buckeyes and their tendencies..
Rookie OSU coach-very vanilla on conservative at times
Toledo had two weeks to prepare for OSU
Ohio kids always give their best against OSU
Unforced errors by Toledo against Boise...almost everything went their way against OSU in execution and timely Turnovers by OSU
Spotty execution against Boise and timely turnovers by Toledo
Boise had 2 weeks to prepare for Toledo
Toledo banged up against Boise because they played OSU last week.......

Georgia doesn't suck. They're middle of the pack in the best conference, by far, in the nation. Which IMO still makes them probably a top-20 team.

Is it "call holding as little as possible" day across all levels of football or something? The high school game I went to had holding on almost quite literally every down, but it got called like...3 times all night. On that last play I saw at least two holds on BSU, and they were both obvious.

Georgia was 6-7 last year, and every team they beat had a losing record. They suck.

I won't say they suck, but I will say they are utterly mediocre. Furthermore, I'm saying they would beat what I consider is an utterly mediocre OSU team right now (I do think we will improve once the guys get back and Miller gets in the game).

The thing is even though Georgia isn't what they have been historically I don't think anyone would call them a soft team (especially in the trenches), and BSU kicked their ass. That is very impressive imo.

Now I am done praising BSU......feel like a dirty syphilis ridden skank.....must bathe.
