Boardwalk Empire (TV Show)

Had to change my avatar for the first time because of the season finale. What a finish to a great season. Anybody dare to estimate the amount of bodies dropped in that episode ? Had to be one of the bloodiest episodes of any show I've ever seen & that includes Band of Brothers & The Pacific.

I liked the show up until the last two episodes. Outside of Richard Harrow (who was awesome), it seemed like everything else was a bit hurried at the end. I'm still shaking my head about what was in it for Capone when he showed up in Atlantic City waging war with Masseria. What did he have at all to gain from that?

The Capone angle just seemed forced to me to give Nucky a way to even the playing field with Rossetti when his back was against the wall.

Looking for a new supplier since Remus is gone?
Looking for some inside leverage to oust Torio?
Looking for some reciprocal muscle for his upcoming move on OBannion in Chicago?

Rosetti's gone.
Masaria's muscle is greatly depleted from the ambush in the woods.
Rothstein is (apparently) going to backed into a corner soon.

Don't know, but there's a lot to be gained right now......

Yup. Guessing that the deal to turn in Rothstein was agreed to during the sit down that Capone Nucky and Chalkie had in the lumber yard. Nucky and Capone now have the distillery for distribution and control over product.

But there is something going on with the lady DA. She got the call to arrest Rothstein, but something is going to happen and she's not going to do it.

Great show last night. I really like that show. I need to go back and watch the first 3 seasons in sequence because I get confused with some of the story lines.

Very average season premier last night, imo. Nothing too huge happened, and they let Nucky out of his war with Masseria and Rothstein way too quick, if you ask me. I realize that months supposedly passed in between the end of season 4 and start of season 5, but nothing jolted the viewer back into the action last night.

I hope they continue to develop the Capone/Torio gang in Chicago. He (Capone) and Capone are my two favorite characters on the show.

Interesting that Juciano and Lansky seem to have had a falling out as Luciano is now with Masseria......

No sign of Margaret, which did not bother me in the least.
