Karma would be him getting out of the Orlando contract, then Florida announcing that they had hired someone else.

Your mom asked if you remembered this one...

What's up Billy Boy????

Who out there actually has any concerns as to where this guy actually ends up? I mean, come on, either take the money and go coach, er I mean babysit, in the NBA or stay at Florida, where you actually have a shot to win something. It's a no brainer, take your 27 mill, babysit for five years, and then retire to a secluded island and forget your worries.....Let me make the decision for you and I already would've been gone!

And while it is embarassing for it to play out like that, slavery is no longer legal.

Uh, I don't recall many slaves getting the chance to decide between multi-million dollar jobs...nice anology. :roll1:

No one held a gun to his head. No one flogged him to leave Florida. No one held his family against their will. He has no one but himself to blame for this clusterfuck...

What I meant was, even a signed contract does not require performance when it is for individual services. They cannot force him to take the job even after he signs. And, yes, as I've said several times, because of that decision (or indecision) he has to pay whatever contractual penalty he bargained for.

And Mili, he indeed has nobody to blame but the guy in the mirror.

Now that I agree with. Still, although he can't be "forced" to fulfill his contractual--and to a certain degree, ethical--obligations to Orlando, not doing so shows a distinct lack of integrity and personal responsibility.
