Meh...fuck bridges. BoB may not be the world's best whatever, but he'll find something in football if he wants it, when he wants it.Yeah.. he may burn a couple of bridges if he goes to BC. He may get a little bit of a bad reputation. But that will be forgotten pretty quickly if he wins at BC.
Someone said what his son's condition is, but I forget. I'm sure Ohio State has someone who can treat him. He may even get better care in Columbus. I won't be the judge of who is better than whom in the medical world. But BOB and family are familiar with the doctor they have in Boston. And that probably goes a long way.
I don't make decisions on who coaches where. But if my manager comes to me and says, "Yo, BOB wants to work here. What do you think?" I'd be a little hesitant to agree to hire him based on his situation, and leaving Ohio State now will only make my opinion a little worse. But BOB needs to make the best decisions for BOB and his family.
His kid's health and being there is likely (and should be) more important to him.
