Pepperidge...as in Farm?
As in Ocean's 13. And yes, the nose does play. ^Pepperidge...as in Farm?
ORD, is that you?
Pepperidge...as in Farm?
Since it's obvious to anyone in the state of Pennsylvania that O'Brien is referring to the Board of Trustee, AD David Joyner, and acting president (and doing a poor job of "acting:) Rodney Erickson, and since PennLive have been staunch apologists for these people for the past 2 years, there is no way Jones or anyone else at the paper is going to criticize or question them.
Well, the chum's been sitting in the water for about twelve hours. Let's go and see what bottom feeders may have come up to take a nibble.
I'm not even thinking anymore....just reacting.

How exactly has the BOT/admin "destroyed" PSU football?Reply
I see all this talk about how the BOT, Joyner, and Erickson are determined to destroy athletics and in particular, PSU football. So I ask simply - show me the evidence?
Here are a few facts:
1. We are 2nd in the Learfield Cup
2. We have one of the highest paid wrestling coaches
3. When OB was hired he was paid $2M per year, there were other cheaper options out there (like Tim Murphy, etc)
4. The football weight room was gutted and new equipment purchased - not exactly a cheap endeavor
5. Football asst coaches given a pay raise last year when OB flirted with the NFL
6. OB's salary increased when he flirted with the NFL last year
7. Supposedly the admin was also prepared to increase OB's salary again this year
8. PSU is paying a pretty penny to have both scoreboard's replaced at Beaver Stadium - again not a cheap endeavor
So I ask simply, please show me examples of how the PSU admin and BOT have made moves to destroy PSU football.

Bill O’Brien expected to add several Penn State assistants to Houston staff

AP
Texans coach Bill O’Brien has bid farewell to the majority of the members of the Texans’ 2013 coaching staff and it looks like he’ll be replacing many of them with coaches who worked with him at Penn State.
A Penn State spokesman announced Monday that five members of O’Brien’s final staff at the school resigned on Monday. Defensive coordinator John Butler, strength and conditioning coach Craig Fitzgerald, wide receivers coach Stan Hixon, running backs coach Charles London and safeties coach Anthony Midget are all expected to be part of O’Brien’s first staff in Houston although there’s been no confirmation from the Texans about whether they’ll be part of the staff or what role they’ll fill.
Travis Johnson of the Centre Daily Times reports that special assistant to the head coach Jim Bernhardt and strength and conditioning coaches Dwight Galt IV and Sean Hayes are also leaving their posts. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports Bernhardt will be on O’Brien’s staff and that the Texans will also hire University of Iowa offensive line coach Brian Ferentz.
Assistant head coach/defensive line coach Bill Kollar was not let go along with the other Texans assistants and O’Brien reportedly wants to hire Romeo Crennel to be his defensive coordinator.
Not terribly surprising, except that he's interested in hiring Crennelephant as DC.......
The chosen ones who are fortunate enough to study at the feet of Belichick sure do stick together, don't they?
