Awesome. Apparently, if you're going to change the President at an allegedly serious AAU university, it takes the "big sports names on campus" to get it done. It's almost comical how the cult day in and day out exhibits how the culture at ped state was the most corrupt, misguided and dysfunctional in the country. And now their overwhelming obsession is to drive out those who have attempted to change it and go back to the good ol' days when the football coach ran the university.

Is it any wonder that nobody other than an income padding third rate medical dean has shown any interest in the job to date.

When they get ready to formally announce the new hire, Tug needs to come out strongly supporting whoever it is. It would probably cause half of the Pedsters to immediately turn on the new coach.

The Lion football team, due to some bizarre and yet to be proven allegations against Penn State coaches and university officials, are prevented in participating in bowl games. Bill O'Brien is a highly intelligent and very savvy coach. Tomorrow, New Years Day, is the biggest day in college football other than perhaps the MNC day.

I look for a major announcement from O'Brien to be upcoming tomorrow regarding his continual coaching at Penn State. It will dominate much of the day and the week upcoming. The Penn State football team may not get publicity because they aren't playing but Penn State will be the biggest news of the day.

It will be good and positive news for Penn State. And I think it will be a big boon for recruiting. There will be a running scroll at the bottom of every college football game tomorrow and it will be all Penn State and Bill O'Brien. The guy is a genius.

Good God. The stupidity over there flows as regularly as the Salmon back to Capistrano.
