Agree. I think Minny is a step ahead of PSU, Illinois, and possibly even Purdue but I will have a better feel of that after today.
We would like all your rankings to be sent in after any sunday games, so anytime sunday night or monday am is great.

Ok here are the rankings for this week...

we only have 9 participants, hopefully next week we can get a few more...

1.) IU - 96
2.) MSU - 90
3.) Wisky - 84
4.) tOSU - 65
5.) Purdue - 64
6.) Minn - 58
7.) PSU - 45
8.) Illinois - 35
9.) Iowa - 27
10.) Mich - 21
11.) NW - 9

Participants: Best Buckeye, Bucyrus, 40, BuckeyeMike80, Bernini, BKB, Nastydogg, bkochmc, litlbuc

The big changes this week are IU overtaking the first spot after MSU went down to Iowa, and tOSU falling to a very low 4 and very close to Purdue at 5. Also Wisky is picking up some momentum...

I could see that except who are you going to move ahead of them?, who do you think is better than them ? um besides Iowa I mean. :pirate2:
I put Wisconsin ahead of them... they seem to play a bit more consistent than MSU right now. I try to make my rankings as fluid as possible. I also put Purdue ahead of OSU this week though that was very tough since the Bucks destroyed Iowa earlier in the week.

I kept Ohio State above Purdue because I think if they play them a neutral site Ohio state would win probably 8 out of 10 times.

I also kept Sparty above Indiana because I think their loss to Iowa was just strange. However, I do see Wisconsin coming on strong.

After seeing Sparty up close tonight I do not see them as the top team in the big ten, maybe not even top 2...I have not seen a lot of Wisky, but I have seen IU and while beatable, I think they are the best team in the big ten at the moment...

I also think that the big ten if Purdue and tOSU finish with winning records in the big ten and win a game against IU, Wisky, MSU that the big ten will get 5 teams in the tourney...

They could also get 6 if someone of Minny, PSU, Illinois beefs up their resume with some solid wins...

I agree, I have been slightly skeptical of MSU but I think they hold onto their 2 spot in the conference with me only out of default. I have seen Wisky and the jury is still out on them to me. They are putting on a strong showing over a PSU team tonight that is reeling after it's home collapse to Minny this weekend, but other than the win at Texas they don't have any quality wins on their schedule. The Texas win is a good win no doubt but it continues to lose some of it's luster as Texas is getting to be shown as a team that really only goes 6 deep and is getting worn down by teams stronger than them. Wisky was setup as well as you can ask for at the front end of the Big 10 season.

@ TSUN
Iowa
Illinois
@ PSU
Northwestern
TSUN

You have to reserve judgement on them until after Jan. 26 to Feb. 13. During that stretch they play Indiana and Purdue twice and @ Minny. We will know how good they are or are not after that. Indiana is clearly the best of the Big 10 right now.

The Badgers would have beaten Marquette if they weren't horrible at the free throw line. And they looked very impressive against Illinois, in spite of the score. They are a relatively young team who is improving as the year has progressed.
