Not that many games last week so I don't think the rankings would have changed much.
MSU
Indiana
Wisconsin

Illinois
Ohio State
Purdue
Minnesota

Penn State

The next three I have no idea. All three are so bad.
Northwestern
Michigan
Iowa

Is anyone else shocked at how inept the Michigan Wolverine cagers are this season? I thought Beilein was supposed to be this genius X's and O's guy, but the talent level and on-court performance of this team does not correlate very well. Underachieving in my view.

Their players just are not that good. I think once John B. gets this type of players and system in place they will be competitive in coming years but Michigan really needs to upgrade their basketball facilities to be competitive in recruiting.

Hey guys, was real busy with christmas, new years, work, etc. and now I am heading out to NO so I wont' be able to put these together...

I have forwarded everything to Best buckeye, so send you polls to him and he will get the polls posted...We will make sure we get this back up and running every week after that, during the big ten season...

Should be a fun year in the big ten this year...

hey guys, 40 is too busy to do this spread so he has asked me to handle it.
I think I have sent Pm's to every one who has participated, if I forgot someone I am sorry. If you haven't but wish to participate please feel free to do so.
Please get your rankings into me if you wish to participate either sunday late or early mondays and I will post them each monday.
I will also ask you to post in the thread any reason why you make/made a change. Maybe we can get a little discussion going here as we get into the b10 season.
tOSU's victory at Illinois was a surprise to me, an enjoyable one!
Thanks .

I sent mine in, but I may have to amend them tomorrow. Minny and Sparty today should be interesting, as well as scUM and Purdue tomorrow. Hopefully we can take down NW but you never know. On paper, should be easy but....

I will be interested in the MSU/Minny game as well. I think Minny has the size to match up with Sparty. I am not too concerned about the Northwestern game tomorrow. We never have much trouble with them at home it's only when we go to their place.

The paralles to their football situation are amazing. New coach that is a scheme guy inherits a bunch of round pegs for the square holes of the only style he knows how to coach. Tough couple of years ensue.

Excellent points here. Shows how fortunate tOSU is in having both football and basketball coaches who are not tied inflexibly to a specific scheme. Both Tressel and Matta have proven themselves to be able to change their approach to fit the talent available to them. This seems essential to sustaining success.
