I agree 100% that they could be playing better this season. But just because they are not living up to our, myself included, unreasonable expectations does not mean that teams 3,4 and 5 games behind in the standings are better than the Bucks. If playing below expectations was cause for ranking a team in the bottom 4 of the Big 10 where would you propose to rank Michigan State? After all they were one of two favorites in the pre-season to win the conference and have 4 losses, 2 of them in a row and includes losses at Iowa and Penn State. Based on that logic they should be in the bottom half of the Big 10 as well right? Did you rank them 7th? Or would they be ranked even lower because they have fallen even further below expectations?

Truth is the Bucks got upset by a team today that played hard and did enough good things to beat what was a pretty solid effort by tOSU. Today was not about what the Bucks did wrong, it was about what TSUN did right to beat a better team. It happens all the time, 15 seeds beat 2's. Does that mean the 15 is the better team on the whole? This game today was TSUN's season, as evident by the students rushing the court, and the Bucks tried hard against them. I just don't get people calling them one of the worst teams in the league over todays loss.

First off I have no expectations for the Bucks good or bad or reasonable or not. I have only hopes for them.
We all also know that some teams improve a little over the course of a season and some improve a lot those teams that improve a lot win their games . I never said my call was based on todays game alone. But on what I feel are the rankings for each team
How do you know that todays game was Scum's season, maybe the win over Iowa was their season. Remember when we lost to Iowa? was that their season too?
Name for me the teams you think we could beat. Not might but will.
I will give you gimme's on Ill, NW and PS

That is exactly the point, any team is capable of beating another on any given day. Well, with the exception of Northwestern. I'm not sure they are capable of beating anyone right now. And as far as tOSU, I believe they are capable of winning every game left on their schedule. Does that mean they will? I don't know, I don't know the future. But I do honestly think they are capable, only time will tell. I guess my hopes are higher than yours right now. You have your opinion, thats your right. I have mine and I don't see anyone in the Big 10 other than Purdue, Wisky, IU and Mich St as better than tOSU right now. Sorry.

Earlier you said that your ranking was based on the last 7 or 8 days. So a close home loss to a strong IU team, a sloppy win but a win nonetheless at Northwestern and a good effort at a game TSUN that came up short makes them one of the 4 worst teams in the league?

It's tOSU - TSUN, it's a rivalry game. The students rushed the court. It has been a dissapointing season this year for TSUN, do you honestly not think that they were not fired up a little more for todays game? Are you calling tOSU-TSUN just another game Mr. Cooper?

Don't be sorry , you are entitled to your opinions too. I did notice that yours are based on hopes. Mine are based on how well I think the teams are playing at this point of the season and that means not necessarily where they will end up in the B10

Thanks, but mine are based on beliefs. You said you have hopes for the team, not expectations. With any luck the team will get on a run at the end of the season and make you eat your words for ranking them 8th.
