Big Ten Conference Divisions

And, can someone please tell me what's wrong with logical, geographic divisions????

tOSU, PSU, tsun, MSU, IU, Purdue

Wisc, Neb, Ill, NW, Iowa, Minn

Ohio, Mich, Penn and Indiana--4 contiguous states. What's not to like?

Freakin' Wisconsin?? NW and Ill. are in the same state and they split 'em up?

I live in Ohio and I can relate to Pennsylvania, Michigan and Indiana. Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska just got electricity a few years ago! Shouldn't they be together??

From the BTN on live TV, the OFFICIAL divisions for 2011 are:

No real names for divisions yet.

X:
Ohio State
Penn St
Wisconsin
Purdue
Illinois
Indiana

O:
Iowa
Michigan
Michigan St
Minnesota
Nebraska
Northwestern

There will be 1 'permanent' crossover game for each team:

tOSU-TSUN (The Game will be the last day of the season)
PSU-Neb
Wisc-Minn
Ill-NW'ern
Ind-MSU
Purdue-Iowa

So, the awful rumor is true. But will The Game be played on the last day of the regular season?
