One lasting memory of FOX Sports in relation to the Buckeyes are constant shots of Colt McCoy's family, in addition to band shots (ignoring the fact that FOX owns part of the Big Ten Network).

I swear the shots of Colt McCoy's family rivaled that of Laura Quinn during the Fiesta Bowl.

This should make the Big Ten's renegotiations with the networks for all sports (not just the championship game) fun when the current contract expires in 4-5 years.

I'd love for the Big Ten to do what the Pac did and have the championship game at the home field of the team with the best conference record.

That would help maximize the conference's ability to get teams into the BCS championship game...and would have a far more electric atmosphere than neutral site NFL stadiums.

I think it would be pretty electric if you have an OSU/Mich game with 35,000 OSU fans staring at 35,000 Mich fans across the field in a dome.

And it would usually allow an extra 10,000 to 40,000 more tickets than an NFL stadium. Which can all go to the home team. :biggrin:

if you can get beyond the cheesiesness of play football in a dome in a conference known for rugged play, and preclude the potential for any epic event a al the "snow bowl" of 1950, then sure. then again you leave thousands of seats on the table by leaving out the other nfl stadiums (and of course the the big big ten stadiums)

My first thought was Fox is better then the BTN, but if they are sharing on-air "talent", I think I'll mute the TV and listen to the radio.

Being a fan of an NFC team, I have to watch FOX NFL all of the time, and I really don't care for them either.
