Big Ten Championship Game

Should be Hayes-Schembechler Trophy

No chance the Little 8 would let that happen but there are still plenty of historic coaches in the conference that should have been listed ahead of Bernie Lomax.

To be honest I would be fine with Stagg-Yost (just think how much those two SOB's would have hated to be listed together!).

Why Not Play B1G Championship Game In Chicago or Green Bay?

I think having the B1G Championship game at Lambeau Field or Soldier Field would be better than having it at Indy. It would really show off the football culture of the conference, and would really set us apart on a different level. It would be awesome to have the B1G Championship Game in primetime with a national audience watching the game at Lambeau Field than at a dome. And having announcers talking about a trip to Lambeau would be better than hearing about a trip to Indianapolis or Atlanta.

I could see why they had to do something quick for 2011, but instead of a 1 or 2 year contract they made a 5-year agreement with Indy.

I guess it's better than the Pac-12s Championship Game which is being held on a Friday night, and hosted by the top seed team because they are probably afraid it won't be sold out if it's held at a neutral site.

unless wisconsin is playing, a game in green bay would be like an acc championship game.

Yeah. Nobody wants to drive up there, especially in early December. I've lived near Green Bay. It's a cool place on Sundays from September to December, but it's just like any other town with 100,000 people for the rest of the year. Not much to see or do.

They should do what the Pac 12 is doing - let the team with the better conference record, head-to-head winner, or higher ranked BCS team host the CCG.

It would normally mean tens of thousands of more seats available, ensure a crazed atmosphere, and improve the chances of having a B1G team end up in the BCS Title Game, due to a home field advantage normally (but not always) going to the higher ranked team.
