MSU had better hope they don't play Oakland in the NCAA tourney, or else they might not go very far. Spartans held on for a 1-point win today against the Golden Grizzlies.

Illinois just got SCREWED. Big time. Horrendous officiating.
i don't think illinois was screwed. tisdale made no attempt at the ball. perhaps as intentional fouls go, it was weak. maybe it shouldn't have been called. i don't know. what i do know is that tisdale made no attempt at the ball and gave the officials enough reason to call an intentional foul.

Not that it wasn't a foul, (it was) but the intentional aspect of it created a six point swing and handed a sure win to Mizzou when the game was still in doubt. The subsequent technical on Weber was just icing on the cake. Missouri scored 8 points in the span of 9 seconds....:(

It was definitely a foul, the guy should never have touched him, but to call it "intentional" was an absolute joke. Might was well call every foul inside of 2 minutes "intentional"...

if on a breakaway layup the opposing player makes no move toward the ball and instead places his hands on the player's back, he's going to get called for an intentional almost every time. it's quite simple: make a play for the ball. if the player doesn't, he has only himself to blame for whatever call is made.

heck, tisdale should have been been given an intentional just for being stupid. he let a mizzou player get deeper and there was nothing he could do to stop the shot. he should have let it go.

That call is made less than 1% of the time, and with the game on the line its made even less. Like i said, the guy should never have touched him, but to call that intentional was bullshit
