Welp, was on Twitter for 5 minutes and I'm done.

I’m actually all for it. Not every year. I’d like to see the championship game rotate between 3-5 locations around the north, and I’m not against doing it in California once in a while, lots of big ten grads out there. Indianapolis is played out and makes less sense as less members can drive there.

Indianapolis is as good of a host as any city in the nation including Atlanta, Dallas, LA, Vegas. Plus it reinforces the roots of the BigTen and I bet most current B1G fans will yearn for the days of it being there.

Vegas is a slimy, weird place. The stadium is nice and many of the hotels are great, but the amount of street trash in LV is alarming.

Stanford wins the Sears Cup (or whatever the name of the month is) almost yearly. Yeah, it's true that Stanford football is their weakest sport. However, all Stanford has to do (in the other 19 sports) is to wave a Stanford diploma in front of those athletes they want, and they fill their recruiting classes with some darn good athletes. Stanford has big Silicon money behind it, and their endowment money is listed in top 5 (last time I bothered to check), so money isn't an issue. If they did join the B10 (or ACC, etc), their 'other' sports would end their seasons at the top of the heap (maybe not always, but more often than not). PS, their athletes have to qualify for admission before being accepted as undergrads. Had a girl who played water polo with my daughter, she was offered a full ride to Stanford, but didn't have enough honors classes, so she went to USC instead. (not my daughter, told her she'd have to pay her own way if she went to USC or TSUN).

BB, difference between Left Coast and Midwest. Had we been living in MW, those two would have been it. Ps, went to Northwestern to visit, spoke with swim coach, and daughter heard one guy say he was visiting ND next day. She asked if we could go there tomorrow, and told her that if she went there, her grandfather would spin vertically in his grave....
