I must be thinking of Jeff Tambroni. He’s done a nice job at PSU. Heck, Myers did do a nice at OSU until 2019

10-12 years ago the program was on the rise and really topped out in ‘15-‘17 with the NCAA runs. Wheels really started falling off around Covid which roughly corresponds to the first loss to tsun (‘19). I’ve never really been a fan of NM, but I don’t think that he was anywhere near a hot seat up until Covid.

That said, as far as I’m concerned, his seat may as well be as hot as a thousand white hot suns.

You’re a couple miles off shore, boat taking on water… your engine is dead and main sail is shredded… a super yacht floats by and offers to throw you a line and you say, ‘naw man, we good.’

Fuck ‘em. None of the remaining potential four P12 teams bring in value in excess of what they would be paid as full members. They would be an unnecessary draw down on the existing value.
