So, if I'm reading this right, Florida State wants to leave because they want more money...but neither conference is exactly in a hurry to recruit them. Maybe they'll go independent

Meanwhile, nearly the entire PAC is now in play, as the B1G wants Oregon, Washington, Stanford, and Cal, while Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah are all Big XII targets.

Man, how bad do you have to feel if you're Washington State and Oregon State? You're like the only teams in this whole thing that NO one wants. It's like being Iowa State without all of the gambling.

Do NOT want cal or stanford.. i respect the schools and the money.. but Culturally I dont really want to bring in schools with so much open disdain for "flyover states" and football culture. Afraid they could almost be a poison pill.

Give me UNC, MAYBE UVA, GT? If we have to go west just stick to adding states with oregon and washington

UNC, UVA have been my wish from day one. Gotta take Duke to get UNC tho is my guess. I’m not beyond that personally. Candidly, any hopes of tOSU LAX being decent are shot in the ass until NM is relieved of his duties, so no holding back on UNC and UVA as far as I’m concerned.

Yeah….time to find a new men’s lax coach. Brand new top shelf facility and the team is declining.

1000%. Way too much time spent on not tOSU stuff. Between the stuff with US Lacrosse and his club team, I don’t know how we could have expected anything different. Pulled too thin… and even then, I’m not convinced that he was the right guy based on what I know from the locker room.

If I recall correctly, we could have gotten the guy who’s at Cornell instead. He’s done a helluva job there.

Buczek? That doesn’t seem right. NM has been coaching at tOSU since before Connor was even an undergrad at Cornell. Don’t get me wrong, I’d be very happy for Buczek to come to Ohio State, but he’s coaching at his alma mater and doing well. No way we get him to the 43210.

Then it was Buczek’s predecessor, I believe. I recall about 10 years ago OSU was considering hiring somebody other than NM. Either NM was in the hot seat or was an interim coach….something was odd and a different coach was in consideration
