Personally, I suspect the Big XII is about to implode. The schools not named Texas are already pissed off, and having their shitty conference champion passed over for the B1G champ is just adding to that. They can laugh at Aggy for being sheep fuckers all day, but it looks more and more like Aggy, Mizzou, Colorado and Nebraska made the right call. Hell, even Oklahoma has to be thinking that they would take their chances in court to jump to the B1G, PAC, or SEC if they had the opportunity.

Where are any of them going to go? The other 4 power conferences are nice and tidy.

Texas yes, not OU by themselves.....just my guess, hate it when people state opinions as fact

OU is a joke of a University iirc, not sure the B1G could take them.

@ORD_Buckeye ????

I did say "and". Okie would be a no with the B1G alone, but hard to turn down if they came with Texas. I thought everything posted here was opinion unless it was stated as FACT. BTW nice ass :p

It would be sweet if the day after UC got their coveted invite to B12, Texas and OU jumped to the B1G

:lol:

I think Andy Staples addresses possible B12 expansion succinctly here:

Immediately after everyone learned Baylor and TCU had been shut out of the playoff field, the responses from fans were predictable. See, the Big 12 needs a conference championship game. It should add (choose any two of) BYU/UCF/Cincinnati/Memphis/SMU/Boise State/USF, split into divisions and be just like every other league.

That’s probably the worst idea. While the Big 12 still might want to add a title game -- more on that later -- scooping up two schools from the above list would only result in less money for everyone currently in the league, a diluted football product and more travel headaches for the non-football teams. Expansion is a viable solution only if it makes financial sense, and a 12-team Big 12 would need to be able to command about $50 million more a year in media rights fees to allow the current members to break even. No two schools from that list, even when combined with the money a championship game would bring, would convince ESPN and FOX to pony up that much more money.
