Stewart Mandel‏ @slmandel
Being reported by @DavidGlennShow that ACC schools have agreed to TV Grant of Rights. Could THIS be the end of realignment?

I still think UVA and UNC will be assimilated into the B1G. I have a hard time believing anything Stewart Mandel said after reading the article with this quote in it.
Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany, undeterred in his quest for East Coast domination, adds Connecticut and maybe Cincinnati.

I hope he's (Mandel) kidding, right.

Cincinnati would never be accepted into the Big Ten and, if Connecticut was valuable, the ACC would've accepted them by now (regardless of any blocks from Boston College).

So I hope he's kidding (and probably is).

No, he just doesn't know what he's talking about.

It takes a remarkably dim writer to ignore the years of articles about TV markets.

It takes an even more worthless writer to suggest that Cincinnati enhances the east coast presence of a conference in Pa, NJ, md, and you know, east of Cincinnati in Ohio.

I still don't understand the columns (Tuesday's) and the general rationale from fans of other conferences saying the Big Ten won't be viable in 20 years (or so).

The alumni bases are too big for that. Usually, Ohio State, Minnesota, Sparty and Penn State are in the Top 10 in enrollment (I believe) and sometimes Indiana sneaks in too.

But somehow, the hacks (columnists) are saying that the population is moving away from the Midwest, therefore the Big Ten is not viable. That doesn't make sense, unless Ohio State or something closes its doors completely.

I think it's just columnists w/o writing ideas (guess) and trying to troll.

Yeah, Cincinnati will get a B1G invite. Then, I will win the power-ball and get proposed to by Jennifer Aniston on the set of the movie I'll be starring in after Steven Spielberg discovers me while I'm walking down Vine street. Hey, it could happen!

No worries. The juggalos are already packing their trash bag for the SEC......although a couple of them are saying that they're too good for the SEC academically.

If bobkitten is pathetic and Fredo is annoying (and potentially dangerous if the political stars ever aligned for them again), Juggalo is just a galactic fucking mongoloid.
