Well, geographically I suppose it makes sense. There are Waffle Houses in the vicinity of Columbus, so that puts it in the south.

I had a professor at OSU that called I-70 the grits line. So although parts of Columbus and its suburbs work (e.g. Grovetucky), the university is about 3 miles too far north to work.

Just because the Big Ten didn't participate in the latest round of conference expansion doesn't mean Commissioner Jim Delany wouldn't be ready to climb into the ring.
"To expand, we must make a compelling case for it," Delany told The World-Herald. "Right now, we can't make a compelling case for it.
