I'm thinking ND told Jim that they are in for sure if Texas is in b/c we'd get such a massive cable contract, almost nation-wide, that they would still feel like they wouldn't be giving up their national following.

The part of that KC story that I question is why the hell would the Big XII be laying people off and closing up shop? Even if the Big XII dissolves, they've still got future schedules and commitments through the next two years. It's not like every school in the country can shred their upcoming schedules and request a do-over.

Need some confirmation from a source in Austin.

Much of what I've read the last couple days makes it seem like getting Texas would result in getting ND after that. If the UT-aTm story is true, then I expect there to be one more wave - ND + Missouri.

You need it from a reliable source in Austin. right now all the sources in austin tell woodward Go west young man... i'll see what i pickup on the way home from work today.

I'm no expert, but my interpretation of that is that the lame duck Big XII would be able to play out the string with a skeleton crew.

Dynasty for the Big 10 in basketball is what that spells... Let alone the dynasty that may come from the football dept!
