Ya know, I haven't really had a chance to think about a lot of these games. I have been sort of thinking about the LSU v OSU game all day. I will say I like our chances more than I did with WVU or Mizzou, not because they are better teams but because they had offenses that weren't really traditional. LSU is different, granted, I see Miles do a lot of creative stuff, but he's more of a traditional, smash-mouth, football coach. I like the fact that he went to a bowl against Tressel at his last gig and lost. I don't know how I feel about it being at the superdome, and our record against the SEC concerns me. If we are going to get over the SEC hump, this is the perfect scenario, my scarlet and gray blood wants me to say the bucks will dominate, however, at this point I am just going to say the Bucks better come to play. That LSU team is really talented, that coach hates our school more than people in West Virginia love their sisters.
Illinois is going to get crushed, they havn't been to a big bowl game in a long time and USC is a pissed off team that feels like they got screwed, I look for them to take out a lot of that agression on Zooks young team.
Michigan, doomed! I don't see them having a chance in hell to win this game. They are going against what might be the best running QB of our generation, a coach who knows how to show you stuff that you've never seen on film, and not to mention, this Michigan team isn't that great.
Wiscy should win this one, after seeing the Cal/Tennesee game I think Wiscy should be able to roll with them offensively. There should be a lot of points here, that should at least make this game fun to watch.
Penn State, this game is a little more intriguing than I thought at first glance. PSU tends to screw themselves, I think they will pull it out but it will be close.
Michigan State will get beat by Boston College because they took the season off about 6 weeks ago and haven't really recovered since.
Purdue and Central Michigan is a bowl game? I thought Central Michigan was someone you scheduled so that the SEC fans could say your schedule was soft and that you were all afraid of real opponents? Purdue should win easily, if they don't, they should not come home, or at least change their names and pretend to be imigrant workers.
Indiana vs OK. State. There's a lot of emotion riding there in Indiana, I think they will sneak out an unexpected victory based on the dying old coach and his wife and stuff that I barely pay attention to.
So I see it ? for the NC at this point, rest of the bowls:
4 Bowl Wins
3 Bowl Losses
OSU V LSU I am still thinking about.
