I think I've figured out why most the country hates the buckeyes.. because at some point or another, we've kicked their ass.

sluTiger;1026987; said:"the [two teams are] basically the same. ... both feature tons of NFL talent ... The Buckeyes' superior pass rush provides an edge against LSU's shaky [pass] protection. LSU is also the second-most penalized team in the nation, while the Buckeyes draw few flags. ... Every fundamental and statistical matchup and detail will be dissected between now and kickoff, claiming dozens of slight advantages for each side. In the end, no one will uncover an edge that can be safely considered significant. ... As with nearly all national title games, these teams are evenly matched. If both teams play at the same level, it will be a stalemate that's too close to call. Usually that means the game will be won by the minds ... Both teams obviously want a win, but who wants it enough ... For Ohio State, the stakes are ... higher. The Buckeyes are playing for the respect of the nation, respect that would already have been granted to most programs with 55 wins, a national title and four BCS appearances in the previous five years. For many fans, though, the Buckeyes' embarrassment at the hands of Florida last year simply confirmed their long-held conviction that Ohio State isn't any good, that the Big Ten isn't any good, and that football players from the North are fat and slow. ... For the Buckeyes players and coaches, this game is more than an opportunity ... to erase the effects of the worst day of their lives [the loss to Florida in the NC game last year]. A chance at national-title redemption doesn't come around very often for a given group of players, and when it does those players usually perform in a way that reminds us that atonement is a powerful motivator. Remember Florida's dismantling of Florida State the year after the Tommie Frazier beatdown? Ohio State will play the very best game it can possibly play. That will be more than enough to win. Ohio State 24-9

1) the Bucks will win big or
2) the game will go down to the wire and either team will have a 50%/50% chance at winning.
Basically, if our LSU boys don't get incredibly fired up and ready to go out there and rip some heads off, they are going to get beat down by a bunch of pissed-off Buckeyes. If our LSU boys do show up with a high level of mental intensity, then I still think we only have a 50/50 chance at winning.

The LSU coaching staff has so many other things going on outside of the game compared to OSU's. The whole Miles calling scUM again and Pellini being torn between LSU and NEB(seeing that he will either focus on recruiting or the defense cord position more, and I know when I switch jobs I care less about my last one). And Tress has to deal with exercise equip? That's all? besides prep.
Also the fact that LSU has to practice around the game site for 30 days. Just being around that atmosphere even if they go home right after practice. This is one of the biggest things going on down there since Katrina so it has to be distracting, while the Bucks sit miles away with nothing but prepping on their mind until 5 days before the game. Media day is over, they seemed focused. I just remember hearing how the Bucks had to find ways of filling up 10 days in arizona. The tigers have the whole UGA/HAW fans to deal with on top of the buckeye fans and that could be a lot for college kids to handle focus-wise.
