Someone was saying that a loss to Michigan could land us in the Alamo Bowl. Not sure whether this was before last weekend or not, but either way its a humbling thought which should definitely shut our guys up. Meanwhile, us useless fans can trashtalk all we want :)

A loss to scUM would have us among a 3 or 4 team gaggle fuck of B10 teams that finished 6-2. Off the top of my head that group would more than likely be Wisky and scUM.

So if you assume PSU get the title then its a choice between OSU/UW/UM for the Capital One Bowl. They don't really do a true tie breaker in those situations, the Bowl committee invites who they think will produce the most $$$. OSU would be the higher ranked of those 3 teams and an OSU/ UGA or LSU type matchup would be very attractive.

Take it fwiw but I don't see us do ANY worse than the Outback but even thats a stretch. I say its Capital One in Orlando at worst.

Wow, I'd just be shocked if that happened. trying to put myself in the Cap 1 and Outback Bowl's shoes for a moment here's all I could come up with.

Teams to pick from: Wisconsin, UM, OSU(all finish with 3 loss and 2 B10 loss)

Cap 1 guy: "I take UW because they beat UM, their fans travel like freakin mad and they will be happy as shit to be here. Add in the Alvarez swan song for a good sub plot and you have an attractive game vs one of UGA, Bama, LSU."

Outback Guy: "Well since both scUM and OSU have had dissapointing seasons by their standards I'll take scUM. Reason is they beat OSU at the end of the year so their fans are happier and will travel better."

Alamo Guy: "FUCK!!! 2nd year in a row for a team that should never be here, their fans aren't going to travel like they should and they will beat the living shit out of some middle of the pack B12 team IF they show up motivated after losing to scUM. This game will be about as easy to sell as cock flavored lollipops. FUCK I HATE scUM !!!"

Jax, you seem to have a good grasp of this. How does the Bama loss affect the Bucks? If, and its a big if, we were able to jump them in the human polls, is that enough for the BCS? Ah, the hell with it, let's just beat Michigan.
