Thanks for the love from the people who pointed out that Penn State winning (and hopefully wholloping FSU) is good for Ohio State and the Big Ten.

I really hope that Texas, Penn State, and Ohio State win by more than 40 points each... that would be a great start to a new year. Then I possibly could envision the final polls ending in this manner:

1. Texas
2. Penn State
3. Ohio State
4. USC

Oh... to dream.

Well, to me, anything behind #1 is just a degree of mediocrity. I'd rather the season end with the rest of the country having to acknowledge that the Big Ten has the best overall teams of any conference. Not just one good team, but many good teams.

Oh, and we lost to Penn State, so their losing would not make us look very good (even if we do go up in the rankings). The same goes for Texas. I'd rather finish 3rd behind the two teams we did lose to.

Has that ever happened before? To any team? I think that would be special.

I come back to the states on Dec 22nd. My dad works in Indy and is sure he can get even odds with the domers there.. if he does ill bet half my savings on even odds...
