I'm not picking on Troy here, but you have to take what the defense gives you and that is not what he did.....

Fair enough. Our D, at least, has played valiantly in the 2nd half so far... it's too bad we couldn't hold them there on 4th. It's all but official now -- I just hope now that there is nothing to lose, our offense will come back to life somehow.
I think we should at least put Zwick in at some point... even if it's not under the circumstances we had all hoped for.

Bad first half effort. No offense. Poor coaching. Untimely penalties. Turnovers. This was not a JT coached team tonight. Congrats to Florida for the demolishment. It's still nice to go 12-1 w/ an outright B10 championship (1st in 22 years) and a win over scUM...but what a dissappointing way to end such a thrilling season. Again, big time congrats to Florida. They are a vastly superior team compared to ours.

Deflected extra point that's still good? Man, what a night for these guys. They outplayed us AND had some good luck.

I'd like to officially thank all the seniors and early-leavers, since we're now basically mathematically eliminated... Thanks boys, and best of luck in the NFL and/or life after football!!! Thanks for the memories!! :)

2 year analysis:

Have we beaten anyone meaningful? We lost to the 2 best teams we played last year.. we beat notre dame which can't beat anyone and wasnt deserving of fiesta bowl last year. We beat texas this year at their crib but come on they lost a lot including a starting qb and how did they fair the rest of the year? We won a shootout with michigan in the shoe but then they play a real opponent in USC and get waxed!

My point is we weren't really that good this year. Analyze our schedule and the big 10 as a whole.

I want to thank Troy Smith for making saturdays exciting the past 2 years. Also if Ginn decides to go pro then good luck, you are a great talent. To the others, shut up and play, tonight proves your not good enough for the next level
