Briles is still a legend in TX. I could easily see him coaching a mid to high tier program. Lay low for 2016, and see the Texas Tech and aTM jobs open up. And if Herman keeps Houston on an upward progression he could leave, and I could see H town hiring ol Art back. If those schools don't open up soon, he could also coach at a smaller school like an Abilene Christian, Texas St, UTEP, etc until something bigger opens up. Briles will still have options in TX alone, let alone in the SEC.Don't see Rice, a highly respected academic center, taking on a risk like Briles. SMU? And being the first program to get the death sentence twice? What about some place like Boise State or Texas Tech?
It would definately be in the south. Arkansas or Tennessee maybe? Briles is 60 though. By the time this stink wears off, I wonder how much time he will have left.I have to agree that in a sane world, he's done. That said, I'd lay 100:1 that if he gets rehired, it's somewhere south of I70.

He'll be back. Year or two at a mid major... if it goes well, back in BXII, SEC, or ACC in time for 2019 season.
I'm sure he could win a few in conference games at UK, more than Stoops and continue his careerHe'd have a worse time than Houston Nutt in the SEC.
Father of a '16 Baylor Signee...
