I'm a BF fan, from 1941 to the Bad Company series (Especially BC2) and have enjoyed BF3. However, tonight I ran into more camping little bitches, level 50 players with HUGE advantages, and general ridiculousness.

For example, we were playing conquest. On one of the new maps, we were trying to cap C, which was a high ground. Well, they had about 4 people with RPG's and ammo boxes that just continually lit up wherever we were. Blow the building up, right? Wrong. This is one of the buildings, seemingly chosen at random, that are indestructible.

Then on Kharg Island, some asshole sits in the back with a T-90 the whole game, using heat seeking missiles to take out any helicopter that considers launching. Just go take him out, right? Well, seeing as the little bitch would just jump out, die, grab a T-90 and do it all over again. That one was more a nuisance than anything else.

And the spawns...good god almighty. At one point we had guys on our team instantly die as they spawn, we're talking the moment they show up, dead. So, spawn away from teammates, such as the encampment? Sure. Just be ok with a 3 minute run to the action unless you are fortunate enough to be near a vehicle.

Ugh.

I'm sure it was just a bad run, but man was it awful. No fun at all. We'll give it another whirl this weekend, otherwise we have to find a more balanced game.

xbox360? Because if that's the case then there's your problem. The entire gaming community was ruined when CoD4 came out, but specifically the console community.

12G frags have just about ruined this game for me. Everyone is using this absurd mobile, rapid fire grenade launcher. Besides the ability to kill targets by missing them entirely and getting splash damage off of walls/floors, the suppression effects of the explosions are just as overpowered, especially on the limited 360 hardware.

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the explosive shotguns.... Not quite a game ruiner, but it is by far the thing that pisses me off the most about BF3

Started this game for the first time since November due to my crashes and Skyrim. I'm happy to report I played for 1.5 hours with no crashing. Now that I'm done with the main part of Skyrim, this will probably be my #1 game for awhile.

btw, successful comeback 2 MVPs and a #2 MVP (after a couple rounds of getting whooped because I didn't remember all the controls). Playing this game when it doesn't crash every round makes a difference. :biggrin:

Everyone who got sick of this game... No worries!

They just did a MASSIVE patch a couple of days ago. I hate to link another forum, but the OP did a great job outlining EVERYTHING!
