Finally played this morning after being away for most of the past three weeks. I am still kicking myself for waiting this long to rock the A91, it is a devastating weapon.

The flashlights are such a joke. Their inclusion and lack of a true fix makes me believe high ranking developers love the cheese, like watching the NCAA devs roll way out of the pocket every down.

I think he meant Operation Metro (I am sure you are thinking Operation Firestorm).

I actually like Grand Bazaar. Metro on the other hand is just a cluster bleep. Yet I do play if from time to time. No better map to level up equipment to get the scopes you want or to finish up the B2K weapons.

The worst I have seen is people that play Metro all the time, and on really high ticket servers (on PC there is a 1400 ticket Metro server). It's pretty much legal stat padding. Every time I play it my points per minute jump a couple and I am Colonel level 4. I would guess my PPM, if I played it all the time, would be around 600. For a quick look at people who play it all the time, just check their flag defended vs. flag attacked medals. If they have a huge amount of flags defended but hardly any attacked, it means they play metro all the time. One side racks up defender medals (normally the one at the top of the escalators) and no one gets attacker medals.
Good call, I dont even play that map and completely forgot about it. I will get on a run where I dominate and no matter what that map comes up and I exit the server, no matter what. Those chumps lobbing RPGs down the escalators.......not worth it.

The "tactical sun" and the lasers are pretty bad but I like picking off the snipers that use them or the guys that run with them giving away position.

Pretty much the best game out ther imo, better than whats going on with Modern Warfare 2.5-no camping, quick scoping, 1 shot one kill ASRs.

What game modes have you been primarily playing? I've been playing lots of Hardcore Rush or Regular Conquest. Seems to get me ALOT of points and very rarely do I come across d-bags with the flash lights.

Haven't played this yet.. I have a copy for the PC laying around and got a new video card to install tonight:

Pretty geeked, I've heard this game hit's 1080p on "Ultra" and this card handles it no problem. As a PS3 gamer, I've also connected my PS3 controller to my computer - I'm sure I'll be worked by the "point & click" crowd online, looking forward to playing some single player with stunning visuals and good stories.

Haven't played a Battlefield since 1942 - I'm a SOCOM guy, any pointers?

thinking about checking this game out. I've been COD exclusive over the years and have never tried BF. What's the learning curve?

Rough learning curve but once you get the hang of it you'll love it infinitely more than COD.

As Wells said, it's pretty rough starting out... But once you start unlocking some of the better weapons, launchers, and equipment upgrades... It gets REALLY fun.

It's also 1,000,000 times more enjoyable when you are playing with a group of 4. Had a nice little squad going earlier with Wells, Jwins, me, and a friend of mine. Needless to say, we didn't lose much.
