Alright.. I said I was going to buy this around Black Friday time, never did. Now my friend keeps pestering me to buy this.. So I think I'm going to buy it right around Christmas. Maybe a day or two after.

I was never the biggest fan of Wake, and I have played that map since bf1942. It's so big and wide open. It's all about vehicles and snipers. If you are not in a vehicle or sniping it's a lot of running, and running, and running some more. I am also not a fan of Sharqui. I have yet to be in a competitive match on that. Oman and Karkand are really good maps. Although I really have to reign in my play style. So many hiding places now that they have opened up all of the buildings. That is not a big deal on Rush, and actually a plus. Yet on conquest you really have to watch every corner.

Overall they are a nice addition.

I am still really bad. But not really, really bad. There is a definite advantage to playing as a team. Played conquest at Noshahr Canals and the team I was on couldn't get on land. The other team pinned us and it was a victory just to get out of the water. It was pretty impressive.

No shit. I'm learning quickly to stay away from those. Last night was pretty fun though. Found a nice little spot on one map where I absolutely destroy kids. And now that I've gotten my FAMAS all leveled and everything, I'm ready to roll!

This game has gotten me on a PC gaming kick; much needed I might add. I finished Skyrim and The Witcher 2 all while playing BF3 with a few friends every night. I recommend playing with friends as a well communicating platoon will make or break your experience. Those awesome moments will feel much cooler too. BF3 is beautiful on Ultra and I would recommend anyone to spend the cash to see it, if they have some to spare that is. I did =X.

Wake Island is a race to hold C. I usually jump in the BlackHawk and wait till it fills up and head directly to C if I'm on the US side. Then it's just air domination from then on considering the only AA for RU is at C.

I generally like those two. If you stay out of the alley on Grand Bazaar you are good. Operation is decent provided you dont have Michael J Fox flying the helos and planes.

It really bugging me the ammount of people that are boosting and hanging back jerkin around by the planes/helos. Most of the times its snipers doing trick shots and jumping around.

I think he meant Operation Metro (I am sure you are thinking Operation Firestorm).

I actually like Grand Bazaar. Metro on the other hand is just a cluster bleep. Yet I do play if from time to time. No better map to level up equipment to get the scopes you want or to finish up the B2K weapons.

The worst I have seen is people that play Metro all the time, and on really high ticket servers (on PC there is a 1400 ticket Metro server). It's pretty much legal stat padding. Every time I play it my points per minute jump a couple and I am Colonel level 4. I would guess my PPM, if I played it all the time, would be around 600. For a quick look at people who play it all the time, just check their flag defended vs. flag attacked medals. If they have a huge amount of flags defended but hardly any attacked, it means they play metro all the time. One side racks up defender medals (normally the one at the top of the escalators) and no one gets attacker medals.
