Some guy went into the beta code and the battlelog code and came up with this list of MP maps...

MP_OMAHA
MP_TUTORIAL

and also the Back to Karkand expansion maps...

Subway is Operation Metro, and forest is Caspian Border. Omaha is the surprising one. Could be the BF1942 Omaha beach map.

Not sure if all of them will be in the final game, but that is a ton of maps, especially if they get multiple game modes.

BTW...they shut down all the Caspian Border servers for the PC. I am very sad about that. If they don't open them back up, I won't be playing BF3 again until launch. I simply cannot handle the pain that Operation Metro brings to me.

Those flashlights are [censored]ing annoying. People are just using them as a mobile flashbang. Point it at your target and if they are looking at you, they can't see [Mark May].

Holy shit, that EOD robot is awesome. Can it be used to arm the charge?

From what I have heard, yes. You can also put C4 on it, it can repair vehicles, disable mines/C4, and what might be the most valuable is a forward spotting point. You can stash it away as the enemy moves forward and just spot them.

A little different but also used for spotting is a little flying gadget the recon class can unlock.

Here is the MAV for the recon class. Not as cool as the eod bot, and can do much other than spot. Recon will use it sparingly since they will want more than just spot points. For a real competitive game where players want the win more than points, it could come in handy.

I got see some games where the opponent was using the EOD bot (or as everyone calls it, WALL-E). They are loud as hell. Everyone know that one is around. As soon as the noise pops up everyone says "hey, there is a WALL-E around here. Someone shoot it."
