Servers are down on the 360.

I'm stuck now. My pc can run the game on the lowest settings across the board. To me it looks just as good as it does on the xbox. I'd much prefer to play the game on the pc as well.

What's the point of having the beta released if we can't play it? It's stupid

Odd thing about this game on my PC, the open areas run smooth and look good. With my system when I get indoors is when my FPS turn to shit. As expect I'll need to upgrade my PC to play. I think I'm going to see if I like this on the PS3 before I commit to a new Vid card.

my biggest complaint about gameplay, in my limited experience (about 3 rounds). is the Sniper scope glint. I haven't played as recon, but that glint is extremely obvious, I was able to pick off snipers with my iron sights too easily. That needs to be heavily toned down.

In my mind, it's official, Operation Metro is the worst Battlefield map of all time.

The team that designed that atrocity should be fired today, and the geniuses that made it the beta map shouldn't be far behind.
Especially when it's the only map we can play :sad2:

Not me

Caspian Border is a blast. I only go back to Metro when they change the passwords, and every time I do all I can think is "why am I playing this horrible map?"

Operation Metro is going to be avoided like the plague once the game launches. No one in their right mind will want to play that again.

That is only for bad snipers, which is perfect. Good snipers can one shot kill (headshot) and then move. Glint to them means nothing. If you see the glint, you are dead. The bad snipers on the other hand with get destroyed, which is a good thing. Bad snipers are completely worthless. At least bad assault, support, and engineer have some benefit (like being a spawn point).

Does it only glint if they are looking right at you? Firing? Looking in your direction but visible from a wider range?

From what I can tell, yes. At least aiming close to you. I have gone after snipers looking at other players, and I couldn't see their glint. Yet when they do aim at you, it's very obvious. Which makes snipers that stay scoped and pan the battlefield a poor sniper. A good one will only scope when he has a target.
