Yes he’s refreshing in this era. He doesn’t hold back in interviews and backs it up on the field.

Just sayin': In all fairness to TTUN, yeah, they complained some about the NCAA sign stealing investigation; however, they aren't the habitual whinners and complainers that Penn State are. With that being said, TTUN are definitely habitual liars and cheaters though.

We might do the same for Lloyd Carr.
No way we do it for RRod, Hoke, Harbaugh, or whats-his-name.
There's definitely a different feel toward *ichigan lately. At least, for me. There was a respectful hatred for them for a long time. It was declining into a disrespectful hatred throughout the 2010's. Their ducking of their ass-beating may have finished it off. I don't think the cheating scandal affected it - the respect was already gone.

I've always felt like the fans went to real, actual hate and not grudging respect due to the shit we had to listen to during the Cooper years.
The Woody/Bo era guys seem to have some semblance of respect for tsun.
I have never known anything but pure, naked, burning hate.

Oh I think the cheating scandal added more wood to the hate fire, ESPECIALLY when they cheated for several years and beat OSU, AND THEN won the Natty! That was like literally taking a knife and twisting it.

Yeah. The Cooper years (and dealing with the smug assholes up north's response to them) pushed a lot of our fan base over the edge. Moving back to Columbus for a few years in the early 00s after mostly living abroad for the 90s, and I was shocked at how different it was than my college days.
