I'm not sure I want any part of the playoffs. 3 other teams that have had twice as many games as us to get their shit together? We would walk in playing 6 games to their 12 and multiple games where we were missing several players and coaches. We'd get absolutely boat raced. This "season" is a turd, I just want it to end.

I wouldn’t draft him in the first two rounds. He’s still a major project. I might take him to sit behind a veteran for a year or two and see what you got but I don’t see him being successful in the NFL.

The interception was just a great play by the Northwestern defender. But still, there were a lot of passes that should have been caught in the first half, including the potential pick six that Proctor dropped.

No way he plays as a rookie, he has way too much to learn. You cannot hold the fucking ball past three seconds in the NFL, I don't give a fuck how good of a runner you are.

That's not why it was picked, though. The defender had his back to Fields. Fields threw it up and counted on Wilson to make a play. Wilson just got beat and couldn't break up the pick.

Should've tried running the ball.

Unless they get it going to the point where they don't need to throw a single pass and can still score quickly with the run, not everything will fall into place. Justin just can't get out of his own way passing right now. The balls haven't been as good as they should be and have been, and he's still staring down his desired option. Sermon has dropped some dump offs, so Justin will continue to focus on his downfield options and stare them down (which is another discussion probably more appropriate for Justin's or Day's threads).

And even 4 drinks deep I admitt... sign me up to play AM in some meaningless bowl game because without any kind of improvements we are looking at an embarrassing loss first round vs Clemson or Alabama.

I wouldn't vote this team in provided we don't go ham this second half.
