Honestly, I'm extremely surprised that Ted Ginn Sr. let one of his kids go to USC with all the drama over there... Still, I wish Aundrey Walker the best at USC. I think he messed up, but I hope he made the right choice for him. Good Luck Aundrey

Let?

I agree w/ Bengals&Bucks - it was Aundrey's decision - I'm sure Coach Ginn is proud of him and will wish him the best of luck out west.

I would be lying if I said that this one didn't hurt. What bothers me even more is the blatant disregard for the rules by Kiffin and Co. Good luck to Drey, but I hope USC loses every game in the next 4 years.

The meltdown is a joke. Dre gets his college paid for and goes to a very good college program. I believe he will see the field at USC sooner than at OSU. Good luck congrats on getting a full ride.

I am happy if you do not want to be at OSU then go somewhere else. Pretty simple.

I don't know about that, we're losing a TON of depth on the O-Line and Aundrey would have been perfect. Part of why we pursued so many OL this year, and are taking a look at Graham Glasgow from IL. Many of them will need to rise to the challenge, but Tressel will have them on track and exceeding expectations soon enough.

People really need to start lowering their expectations re: Glenville recruits. They are not anymore likely to go to Ohio State than any other Ohio kids. We get the strong majority of all big-time Ohio recruits and we lose a few at the same time. Glenville is proving to be no different... and that's ok too.

Good luck to young Mr. Walker.

Let me clarify my position. I'm not upset that he chose to go elsewhere, I'm upset that he chose USC. There are not many academic institutions that I dispise, but USC is one. So like I said, good luck to Aundrey; I'll leave it at that.

last Ohio kid to go to USC was Fred Davis... and we all know how that turned out. Actually, no we don't. I have a strong feeling that 'Drey is going to regret going to USC, especially considering how ruthless they usually are in terms of their players. You're either a superstar immediately or you get no chance (just look at Mitch Mustain).

Tressel will always give you the opportunity to play and prove yourself, and he is fair and thoughtful. Kiffin - well, we all know what Kiffin's like.

Good luck Aundrey, and have fun in SC, but when we win a championship in the next few years and eventually beat Miami to be the program thats produced the most nfl players since 2000, you won't have been part of it. Sad

Now, lets move on to next year baby! I think the Sugar Bowl win really got us more national exposure, because I've never seen such a diverse array of kids from around the country have interest in us. Looks to be a good year.

Not sure what you're getting at here but first of all, Fred Davis, I would guess, has no regrets about going to USC. He won a NC, the Mackey Award, became a 2nd team All American, and got drafted in the second round. The "Fred Davis's Life Sucked at USC so Andrey's Will Too" argument is not only comparing apples and oranges, but also built on sheer inaccuracy.

I also fail to see how the prospect of becoming the "program that produced the most NFL players since 2000" is relevant. If the ultimate goal is to get to the NFL, USC offers the same (perhaps even better) opportunities as Ohio State. While the sanctions may be a concern, the level of competition USC plays is much more intense than Ohio State. If there is doubt about that, refer to this past bowl season.

I've said it before and not just with OSU prospects...I can't defend any kids decision to play for a school where Kiffin is. I would never, ever let my kid go to play for him. I can wish him an injury free career and say we'll be fine with out him, but that is all.
